Rauschert develops customised thermoformed trays for the safe transport, storage and handling of your components – regardless of material or industry. We support you with expert knowledge throughout the entire process, from design and toolmaking to series production. Why we are entering the packaging technology market
Anyone who has supported a development project through to series production will recognise the pattern: the product itself takes centre stage. At the same time, packaging is considered only in passing – or not at all. The result can be trays that do not match the component geometry, handling processes that do not run smoothly, and additional rounds of coordination just before series production begins.
Our experts know these challenges first-hand. Over many years, we have helped our customers solve precisely these kinds of coordination issues. We bring this experience directly to our offering. Rather than treating packaging as an afterthought, we consider it from the outset: from the initial concept and design through to toolmaking, sampling and series production.
One contact, one process, fewer interfaces
The key difference compared with conventional packaging suppliers is the breadth of our in-house capabilities. With design, toolmaking, sampling and production all provided by a single supplier, coordination is faster and more straightforward. Sample parts and pilot runs provide confidence before approval for series production: fit, protection and handling can be tested at an early stage rather than corrected once production is under way.

✔ Support closed material loops: Packaging trays that are no longer required can be taken back and sent for recycling, depending on the material and application. This is becoming increasingly relevant with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which applies from August 2026.
✔ Use trays for automated processes: Equipped with centring pins, our trays are suitable for automated loading and, where required, can also serve as small load carriers (KLT containers).
